Description:
Replacement blades for the Zetsaw Fine 240 and Zetsaw Fine H-240 Dozuki-nokogiri Japanese Saws. The Dozuki (as it’s more commonly referred to in the West) has been the mainstay of professional cabinet makers, temple builders, furniture restorers, etc., for centuries. The Zetsaw Fine 240 replacement blade is for fine joint work on solid timber and cuts on delicate wooden panels.
The Kataba blade of a Dozuki has a fine tooth configuration for smooth finishes to cuts, which reduces the need for major clean up of the joint. The teeth are impulse hardened for greater blade longevity with an effective cutting length of 240mm.

Benefits & Features:
Kataba Blade: This blade is specifically designed for use on soft woods, such as pine, cedar, etc.
Fine Teeth: For precise cuts and a smooth finish every time, no matter what the material you’re working on.
Pull Saw: Cutting on the pull stroke, rather than the push stroke, reduces the risk of blade flex whilst cutting.
Blade Replacement System: Reduces the need to get teeth sharpened and re-set, when in the middle of a project. Simply replace the blade and continue on with what you were doing. This system also means you will not have to buy a complete new saw, should the blade break.
Hook Fixing: For easy and speedy blade replacement. No need to have multiple saws, just swap the blade out for different tasks, with compatible blades. Great for smaller workshops with limited storage space. Click here to download the PDF guide on replacing the blades on saws with hook fixing blades.
Impulse Hardening Technology: Treating the teeth in this way helps keep them sharp for much longer than conventional methods. Whilst the core of the blade remains tough, yet flexible, to reduce bending and buckling during use.
Blade Length: 240mm of effective cutting, with an overall blade length of 269mm.
Blade Thickness: 0.3mm.
Blade Pitch: 1.0mm [25 TPI].
Kerf: 0.4mm. Cuts with the Zetsaw Fine 240 blades produce less sawdust and reduce wood waste, than conventional Western saws.
