Description:
Replacement blades for the Zetsaw Ryoba 250 Ryoba-noko Japanese Saw. The coin screw fixing of this saw means that blades can be quickly and easily replaced, should the cutting edge become unusable, or the blade snap, part way through a project.
A Ryoba-noko (although it is more commonly known in the West as just Ryoba) Japanese Saw is typically used for general sizing and dimensional cutting of solid timber, but the Zetsaw Ryoba 250 may also be used to cut plywood, chipboard and laminates.
The Ryoba blade of the Zetsaw Ryoba 250 has one edge dedicated for rip cuts and the other for cross cuts. The teeth of each cutting edge are impulse hardened for greater blade longevity, and have an effective cutting length of 250mm.

Benefits & Features:
Ryoba Blade: No need to have two saws to hand when you need to make rip and cross cuts. Simply flip the blade over and use the other edge, which saves you time.
Rip Cut Teeth: Dedicated rip cut teeth specifically designed for fast cuts along the wood grain.
Cross Cut Teeth: Dedicated cross cut teeth specifically designed for smooth cuts across the wood grain.
Pull Saw: Cutting on the pull stroke, rather than the push stroke, reduces the risk of blade flex whilst cutting.
Blade Replacement System: Reduces the need to get teeth sharpened and re-set, when in the middle of a project. Simply unscrew the blade, replace and continue on with what you were doing. This system also means you will not have to buy a complete new saw, should the blade break. Saving you money.
Coin Screw Fixing: For easy and speedy blade replacement. No need to go hunting for a specific screwdriver, just use the edge of a coin, washer, or anything similar. Impulse Hardening Technology: Treating the teeth in this way helps keep them sharp for much longer than conventional methods. Whilst the core of the blade remains tough, yet flexible, to reduce bending and buckling during use.
Blade Length: 250mm of effective cutting, with an overall blade length of 292mm.
Blade Thickness: 0.5mm.
Blade Pitch: 3mm [9 TPI] (Rip). 1.40mm [18TPI] (Cross).
Kerf: 0.7mm. Cuts with the Zetsaw Ryoba 250 produce less sawdust and reduce wood waste, than conventional Western saws.
