The Dozuki (as it’s more commonly referred to in the West) has been the mainstay of professional cabinet makers, temple builders, furniture restorers, etc., for centuries. The Zetsaw Hardwood 240 replacement blade for fine joint work of solid timber and cuts an delicate wooden panels.

The Kataba blade of a Dozuki has a fine tooth configuration for smooth finishes to cuts, which reduces the need for major clean up of the joint. The teeth are impulse hardened for greater blade longevity with an effective cutting length of 150mm.

Impulse Hardening Technology: Treating the teeth in this way helps keep them sharp for much longer than conventional methods. Whilst the core of the blade remains tough, yet flexible, to reduce bending and buckling during use.
