The Zetsaw Dozuki Hardwood H-150 is a Dozuki-nokogiri Japanese Saw. The Dozuki (as it’s more commonly referred to in the West) has been the mainstay of professional cabinet makers, temple builders, furniture restorers, etc., for centuries.

The Zetsaw Dozuki Hardwood H-150 (along with all Dozuki-nokogiri) has a blade that is super thin, which is steadied by a long metal spine. This allows for precision joint work of hardwoods and reduces “chattering” when cutting thin boards.

The Kataba blade of the Zetsaw Dozuki Hardwood H-150 has an extremely fine tooth configuration for smooth finishes to cuts, which reduces the need for major clean up of the joint. The teeth are impulse hardened for greater blade longevity with an effective cutting length of 150mm. The blade is supported by a stiffening spine, which is incorporated into the handle.

Impulse Hardening Technology: Treating the teeth in this way helps keep them sharp for much longer than conventional methods. Whilst the core of the blade remains tough, yet flexible, to reduce bending and buckling during use.
