Handcrafted "Ziggurat" Tealight Holder [Flame]

Description:

The Handcrafted “Ziggurat” Tealight Holder is a huge chunk of 100% reclaimed wood. The dimensions (at the base) are 186mm x 151mm x 92mm (approximately 7¼” x 6” x 3½”)* in size and forms part of my “Creative Pyromania” collection.

This piece has undergone an ancient Japanese wood burning process, called Yakisugi. Brushing off the char creates a visually striking effect, which brings out the natural grain (and beauty) of the wood.

The Handcrafted “Ziggurat” Tealight Holder has been hand brushed/sprayed with a graduated, three colour “flame” stain and finished off in a satin varnish. But, if the Autumnal aesthetic doesn’t exactly fit with your home décor, then scroll down to see how you can get your own custom piece.

*Measurements are taken before the Yakisugi process, so there may be some slight variation in dimensional sizing.

Limited Edition: As each piece created depends upon the availability of the reclaimed materials. Thus, only a limited run is produced at any one time.

Safe: The stains used to create this Handcrafted "Zuggurat" Tealight Holder are made from a water-based, chemical solvent-free formula that is completely biodegradable. The varnish used is water-based, too, but is also food/child safe.
